These journal pages are a tribute to the lovely vintage bird illustrations of Catharina Klein, published in the late 1800s and early 1900s. I've included lovely florals and sweet, uplifting thoughts to brighten your day. The colors are pretty, soft pastels, perfect for spring projects, but nice year-round for any bird and flower-lover. Many of the birds in this ephemera kit are identified, but not all. You might enjoy identifying those that aren't, while out and about on local trails.

Birds are featured in pretty lace frames surrounded by lovely vintage/shabby style florals. Colors are pastel, with an occasional bright jewel-tone thrown in for accent. The background has lots of cream, neutral beige and pink. These pages would work well in any spring, floral or bird-themed junk journal or handmade paper craft.

There are 38 sheets of perfectly coordinated journal pages. Included are a few background/backing papers and lined journaling pages, for you to enjoy picking and choosing which pages and elements to use to build your own personalized journal or something beautiful to sell. I have left the "inking" to you, as some like it and some prefer no inked edges.

Fold the pages in half to make a 5.5 x 8.5 inch junk journal, tear them to use in your own collages or multi-media projects, or fussy cut the elements to play with elsewhere.
